Corp. Achieves Record Breaking Year
Investment Properties Corporation
(IPC) experienced another record breaking year in 2005
with an increase in commercial brokerage transactions.
Celebrating its 30th year in business, IPC is one of
the area’s
oldest commercial real estate brokerage firms.
Representative sale transactions negotiated by the
team in 2005 included: a 66,000-square-foot office
building at 2150 Goodlette Road North for $15.5 million;
a 263-acre residential development located at the intersection
of Barefoot Williams Road and Tower Road for $7 million
by WCI; six parcels totaling 15.4 acres on the southeast
corner of U.S. 41 and Collier Boulevard for Kite Realty
Group for $5.3 million; a 2.63-acre outparcel
on Naples Boulevard in front of Best Buy for $2.9 million
by Oakridge Development; several sales office condominiums
at the Preserve of Bonita Springs, an 11,620-square-foot
office condominium building at 24031 S. Tamiami Trail
in Bonita Springs for $2.1 million by Colony Plaza
LLC; and numerous industrial property sales.
Significant leases negotiated by IPC in 2005 included
two long-term leases on 12.1 acres of land in the Colonial
Center subdivision in Fort Myers for Lee Memorial Hospital
and a 10,400-square-foot office at Fifth Third
Center on Vanderbilt Beach Road for Brown & Brown,
a national publicly traded insurance agency.

contributions by leasing associates Clint Sherwood

record year”
