Christine Gonnering McManus of IPC earns CCIM designation

NAPLES, Fla. (April 27, 2010) – Investment Properties Corporation (IPC) announces that leasing/sales agent Christine Gonnering McManus has earned her Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, the leading indicator of expertise in commercial and investment real estate.

A commercial real estate sales and leasing professional with IPC, Christine holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration from The University of Central Florida in Orlando. She joined IPC in 2007 with 10 years of experience in the Southwest Florida real estate market and having earned Sales Person of the Year honors.

To earn the CCIM designation, McManus completed four core courses, achieved a required level of closed transactions and passed a comprehensive examination. She is among only 6 percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide who hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the caliber of the program, but also why it is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry.

IPC has the distinction of having six of its agents holding the CCIM designation, representing 75% of the company. It is also noteworthy that McManus works with her father, Bill Gonnering at IPC, who has held the CCIM designation since 1982.
